Shipping

We currently ship throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.

We aim to charge only what it costs to ship! If you do think the shipping seems a bit steep on certain items then contact us and we'll take a look! It's a complicated business getting it right. How much will it cost? In a nutshell items less than 2Kg can be shipped for FREE throughout UK. Heavier items may incur a surcharge to Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland. The quickest way to see how much you'll pay is to put the item in your cart, enter your postcode and you'll see a range of options and prices.

Overseas, we ship light cheap items using Airmail Small Packet. More expensive items are sent using Airsure and cost a bit more. Heavier items and expensive items are sent using DPD road courier. Even these rates are pretty good for a fully tracked service! Again, put your item in the cart and select your country for an estimate.

Mainland United Kingdom

Standard shipping is FREE (3-5 days).
Expedited 24-hour (next working day) courier option is £4.95
Saturday Delivery less than 2Kg is £9.99. Saturday Delivery for all other items is £19.95

UK Highlands, Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland

Standard shipping less than 2Kg is FREE (3-5 days).
Expedited 24-hour (next working day) less than 2Kg is sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery and costs £7.50
All items over 2Kg are charged a standard rate of £12. This reflects the Parcelforce surcharge for shipping to non-mainland areas and takes 48 hours.

Channel Islands

First of all, we do not charge VAT for Channel Islands once you have entered your country you should see the correct amount being charged.
Charges are similar to Highlands and Islands.

Standard shipping less than 2Kg is FREE.
Expedited 24-hour (next working day) less than 2Kg is sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery and costs £7.50
All items over 2Kg are charged a standard rate of £14.95. This reflects the Parcelforce surcharge for shipping to the Channel Islands and takes 48 hours.

Western Europe (Including Republic of Ireland)

Less than £30 and less than 400g - Airmail Small Packet £3.95
Less than £100 and less than 1000g - Airsure/Airmail Signed For £9.95

All other items are sent using DPD road courier and the following rates apply:

Except for cheaper items man of our services require a signature so please make sure that there is someone home to sign! Instructions such as leave in the porch will not be followed if a signed for service is used. However "leave with neighbour" or "leave at shop down road" are fine. Or specify a work address. We need that signature! We will ship orders to separate addresses provided your credit card passes the 3D secure or it is Paypal/Google confirmed address.

You will receive an email from us confirming that we have received your order. Most orders are despatched within 24 hours (Mon-Fri). In the unlikely event we are unable to ship within 1 working day we will update you via email and give you the opportunity to cancel. We will email you as soon as goods are despatched although you can check your order status at any time by logging into your acount.

Items in the UK are sent using either Royal Mail or Parcelforce. If delivery is by Parcelforce you will receive a tracking email when the goods are despatched. They will make an attempt at delivery on the scheduled delivery date and if you are not home they will leave a card offering a range of options which can be selected by going online. We use Parcelforce because they have the facility to leave parcels at your local PO if you are not home which many customers find very useful. We get charged by Parcelforce if goods are returned to us, so please make sure you regularly check the status of your order to insure someone is in as we reserve the right to pass these additional charges on to the customer.
