Biography

Gino Robair is a senior editor at Electronic Musician magazine and has composed for Shakespearean theater, Indonesian gamelan, and modern dance. His commercial credits include themes for Starbucks, Comedy Central, and MTV, and he served as music director for the CBS Saturday morning cartoon The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat. As a drummer, Robair has recorded with Tom Waits, Anthony Braxton, Lou Harrison, Peter James, and Pink Mountain, among others. He is one of the 25 innovative percussionists included in the book Percussion Profiles (SoundWorld, 2001).
